Personal guard training
Personal guard training Training for Personal Protection**
**Personal Protection Training**
Personal protection (Bodyguards) is a part of security activities. It involves ensuring the protection of an individual through the use of personal guards and establishing special measures.
**Personal Guard**
Personal guards play a crucial role in high-level security systems, and they are specifically trained on how to handle and manage various situations.
After completing their training at the International Center for Personal Protection Training (CIFPR) Level 1 – (self-defense techniques using the martial arts method: Matrak-Do), personal guards are equipped to handle one or more attackers.
Highly skilled personal guards possess essential traits such as responsiveness, efficiency, organization, discipline, seriousness, and calmness.
**The Misconception of Personal Protection Agents**
Unfortunately, the profession of personal protection suffers from a false image among the general public and those who are not familiar with this field. This incorrect portrayal of the “bodyguard” profession is often perpetuated by the media and many films, which exaggerate and present a Hollywood-like, glamorous image. Many people also have the misconception of personal guards being large, bald, tattooed individuals, which is far from the truth.
The reality is quite different. A personal guard must have a strong sense of reality, a high level of intelligence, and must be discreet, capable of moving anywhere without drawing attention to themselves or the protected person (VIP). It is clear that 90% of a personal guard’s job involves waiting and preparing: studying and researching buildings, checking routes, inspecting vehicles before VIP arrivals, and conducting assessments of locations or individuals.
In the future, a personal guard might become the assistant who knows everything and whose role may almost transition into that of a personal assistant to important figures.
